Hebrew SeniorLife (HSL) is dedicated to providing seniors with the highest quality of life through an integrated, eight-site system of senior health care, senior housing, research and teaching that serves thousands of older adults in the Greater Boston area and beyond. We are the largest nonprofit provider of senior health care and housing in New England and each component of our unique and comprehensive system is designed to help keep seniors living healthy, active and independent lives in community settings as long as possible and, when necessary, to provide the best quality long-term care. Our health-care network comprises Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, a long-term, sub-acute, and long-term medical acute care facility in Boston; three senior housing sites-Jack Satter House in Revere, Simon C. Fireman Community in Randolph, and Center Communities of Brookline; and Orchard Cove, a life-care community in Canton. The Institute for Aging Research in Boston, affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is one of the most prestigious aging research facilities in the country. Hebrew SeniorLife's NewBridge on the Charles, is our newest community! Set amidst 162 beautiful and environmentally sound acres in Dedham, our premier multigenerational continuing care retirement community consists of 256 independent living units, 50 assisted living units, 41 memory support assisted living units, and The Gloria Adelson Field Health Center - a 268-bed facility providing long-term and sub-acute care. NewBridge on the Charles offers a wealth of choices in amenities and services for seniors of all ages and abilities. In addition, Hebrew SeniorLife offers services to the community, including Adult Day Health programs and outpatient clinics in audiology, exercise, memory disorders, osteoporosis screening, and rehabilitation.

Description Summary: Become part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary and engaging team in a growing nationally recognized organization! Work one-on-one with a diverse and geriatric case load in our collaborative environment. Use state of the art equipment to improve overall functional outcome while maintaining the safety of patients/residents and staff. Outpatient Therapist Assistants treat primarily orthopedic patients and use Biodex! Learn all about our Transfer with Love and Care safe patient handling program.
Primary Responsibilities: We offer flexible work hours between 7:00am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and Weekends. Ask about our float per diem pool within 3 healthcare facilities. Experienced PTAs and new grads welcome with MA license!
